December 10, 2016 Promise or Pay
When it comes to achieving goals, research shows that chance of success increases by 33% if it is shared with others and by up to 72% if money is put on the line. Promise or Pay combines these two approaches to help you stick to your goals by donating money to charity if you dont follow through and encouraging others to donate if you succeed. It is the win-win way to make good on your goals and drive wide-scale social change.

The only thing is, this seems like mostly an Australian thing, there should be something like this in the US. There should also be something like this, except for the fact that maybe it would help you transfer a certain amount of money to a savings account per goal failed, (or maybe even completed, it could work as a motivator for people to complete their goals.)
